ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Developed Matrix Manipulation C++ program that allows user to make matrix calculations on the Linux command line
UDP client/server simulation, a C++ program that simulates a packet sent from a client to a server
CalendarScheduling, a C/C++ program that takes in an input file with information about the availability of a list of volunteers as well as the times
needed for volunteer work. It organizes these volunteers in the best way possible to get the maximum performance evaluation.
Developed 'bashell', a simple custom shell programmed in C/C++ designed to mimic available shells like Bourne or C shell
Permutations, a C/C++ program that takes in a string of numbers from the terminal and outputs all possible permutations
Prefix to postfix, a C/C++ program that converts any prefix statement to its postfix form and outputs to the terminal
Developed 'Toss and Crash', an Angry birds clone using Lua programming language and corona API for my Game Programming Course
Developed "Turret Shooter", another game using the Lua programming language and corona API
familyList, an expert system I built using prolog that has information on my family treee

 

PERSONAL PROJECTS
Developed an 'ICE Emergency Services App' at Battlehack 2014 San Francisco as part of a 4 person team using Apache, php, CakePHP. I was
responsible for Apache web server installation and design, coding and test of backend. Our team was awarded one of 15 Leap Motion Controllers
out of a total 100 individual contestants
Co-developer in a team of two programmers, responsible for creating back-end with php and php cake framework for simple PayPal mobile
website (payit) designed to make PayPal a platform for transactions for small businesses. Developed in 24 hour hackathon, Angelhack 2013 in San
Jose
Simple cross platform space shooter game for mobile phones programmed entirely by myself. Developed using Lua programming language and
Corona API. Turned in as class assignment for game programming and received full credit as well as commendation from professor.
Created personal website using Javascript, HTML, and WIX and also maintain a github account for my personal projects

Attended PG&E Student Leadership Conference which prepared students majoring in hard sciences for the engineering workforce by building
skills in leadership, teamwork, cultural awareness, and discipline.
I am a black belt in Kajukenbo karate. I won $200 participating in AMAPA (a statewide point sparring tournament) in 2009 after winning the
initial rounds and being admitted to the final round and competing against two world champions.
I am multilingual with native fluency in English and Spanish and beginner in Arabic.
